Respite Services – Part Time, Evenings, Weekends, Days
Responsibilities: Providing 1:1 support to children and youth with special needs either in the community or their home. Support provided at various times dependent on individual parent requests, but generally 2-4 hours a week per contract. Depending on the program, Support Workers must be flexible to work varying hours per week, including evening and weekends.
Education: Preferred - Post secondary school diploma in Human Services (ECE, DSW, CYW, etc.).
Experience: Preference will be give to applicants with hands-on experience in providing service with a special needs population. Additional need also identified for male workers, and applicants from Brant County.

Emergency First Aid CPR level C is required. A valid Class G driver’s license and personal transportation may be required. Employment is conditional upon successful completion of background checks, including a police vulnerable sector check and proof of immunizations.
