The Managed Services Advisor will focus on supporting our Managed Services opportunities, working closely with our sales teams.
This role will support the qualification, proposal preparation, account strategy and client management. The Managed Services Advisor will also collaborate with other Softchoice resources to provide knowledge and guidance on Managed Services.
The role is responsible to deliver on the Company’s business objectives of Revenue and Gross Margin as related to these services.
As our Managed Services Advisor, you will be:
Responsible for assisting Sales Managers and Account Executives in defining and positioning large or complex Managed Services solutions ($200,000+)
Assisting in business outcome discussions with our client(s) contacts at C-Level and LOB
Highly available and responsive to the assigned client teams
Participating in client meetings to determine solution requirements
Interfacing with Managed Services Operations to ensure our capability of delivery of services
Managing forecast – maintaining accurate revenue and closing metrics
Leveraging the big deal management and qualifying tools for key opportunities
Utilizing strategic account planning methodology to increase Managed Services revenue and gross margin
Attaining the revenue targets assigned
Communicating opportunity revenue and booking date forecast
Maintaining agreed upon pipeline development activity
Providing business forecast
Utilizing strategic market development to identify business opportunities
Establishing trusted advisor relationships with client organizations at the executive level
Establishing trusted relationship with Softchoice’s sales and Managed Services Delivery teams
Position the Managed Services catalog to drive the Softchoice Go-to-Market strategy and Customer Journeys (End User Productivity & Hybrid IT)

As our ideal candidate you will have:
Post-secondary education with a focus on technology an asset
Minimum 3 years’ experience (5 years+ preferred) in a Managed Services sales environment
Proven experience and success in selling Managed Services
A strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market
Ability to build business, technical, and financial models to support the selling of managed services
Strong client services skills with a focus on improving the client experience
Excellent English communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills
High attention to detail
Demonstrated sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and drive to achieve
Ability to travel to client locations 25-40% of the time
