We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator in our Kitchener Operations facility.

Responsibilities:
Full cycle recruiting - Prepare job advertisements, screening/selection, conducting interviews, and extending contracts
Assist the staffing function regarding headcount requirements, recruiting, transfers, promotions/demotions and reductions in workforce
Conduct weekly orientation training for new hires and organize onboarding in collaboration with the manager.
Update and maintain all electronic and hard copy documents, including but not limited to policies, procedures, employee files, job descriptions
Benefit administration including enrollments, terminations and changes, employee benefit training, RRSP program
Collaborate with the payroll team regarding payroll inquiries from employees
Conduct exit interviews to collect and analyze data in order to understand turnover trends and make recommendations for employee engagement retention
Research and provide information pertaining to Provincial and Federal legislation to assure Company compliance
Demonstrate a high level of integrity and a proactive approach to customer service
Review and work alongside the HRBP to update the programs on a regular basis
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or College diploma in Human Resources or equivalent; combination of experience and education may be considered
Designation/ or working towards the CHRP is preferred.
Must have 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources environment.
Knowledgeable in the areas of employment law and legislation, regulations, compensation practices, recruitment, and Human Resources procedures.
Experience with recruitment practices a must
Experience with HRIS is a strong asset
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects required.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Must have experience in a Windows environment (with word processing and spreadsheet applications).
Ability to work with confidential information
Must be willing to travel to other locations
Ability to represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner.
