POSTING/LOCATION: Office Administrator, Whitehorse (NOC 1221)

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours/week, Full Time, Permanent

SALARY: $28.90/hr

Icefield Tools Corporation is one of a handful of global developers of gyroscopic steering technology for wellbore applications in oil & gas, mining and civil engineering. Located in Whitehorse, Icefield is growing rapidly and requires a dynamic, results driven Office Administrator on a full-time basis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ability to direct and control the activities of the Front Office, and to ensure adherence to the Company's standards, policies and procedures.
Ensure that all Personnel are informed of Company priorities and workflow.
Keep Management notified of any fluctuations in business levels, special client requests, etc.
Perform bookkeeping duties, such as: financial reports, balancing accounts, A/P, A/R, payroll, banking, tax remittance forms, WCB forms, tracking project expenses, keeping reports up to date
Prepare meeting agendas with direction from Management, and to take minutes as necessary
Meet registration deadlines, such as Trade Shows, corporate filings
Coordinate production priorities and workflow
Coordinate Shipping and Receiving, including regular international shipments
Coordinate procurement in conjunction with other personnel while handling inventory management system
Manage all administrative duties as specified by the Company

APPLICABLE SKILLS

Post Secondary Education in Business Administration or Office Administration
Minimum 1-year office administration and management experience
Demonstrated supervisory skills; good judgement and common sense.
Computer literate with knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including Sage Simply Accounting and the ADP payroll system.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities.
