Job Summary

As the first cook, you will be stepping up to serve quality breakfast and lunch items at our busy Douglas Street location. Putting together tasty meals and working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, the first cook is an exceptional position for high-energy team members, and those who have a passion for serving tasty food. In addition to preparing meals, the line cook is required to complete opening, and closing duties depending on the timing of shifts. The ability to expedite a busy brunch services and work independently is crucial for the first cook position. As a central figure to our team, the first cook is vital to our success, and for satisfying hungry guests who crave some tasty eats.


  • Line cooking experience a must

  • Wage 18-20 an hour depending on skill and experience.

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (Required)

Job Duties:

  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Oversee kitchen operations
  • Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
