BizXcel offers a unique and exciting opportunity for those interested in sales and business development positions.  Being part of a small team, you will have exposure to a number of tasks and platforms involved in Business Development.  At BizXcel, you will be part of a team that supports each other to get projects completed.

BizXcel provides training, consulting and analytics services to improve our customer's planning, people, and processes allowing them to achieve optimal performance.   We are a growing company with offices in Brockville and Mississauga, ON as well as Syracuse, NY.  This position is for our Brockville, ON location. This position will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to the office. BizXcel is looking for a driven individual that is looking to build on their knowledge with practical experience in sales and business development.  This position will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment within a small team.

The responsibilities for this position are:

  • Prospecting and developing new leads and customer relationships through inbound and outbound methods in order to support sales targets and quotas including increase number of resellers in partner program.
  • Follow up and engage with marketing leads to convert to sales leads
  • Conduct sales inquiry calls and books appointment for the appropriate team member
  • Assist with content for marketing platforms to maintain brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Assists with  marketing events such as tradeshows, webinars and other events.
  • Assists with prospecting and generating interest (social media, icontact campaigns etc)
  • Coordinate and create marketing material such as promotional videos, handouts, ads, blogs etc.
  • Assist in research and analysis in market/client/industry trends to support product development and sales/marketing team.
  • Research and report on potential strategic relationships

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Be a passionate, self-starter
  • Be detailed oriented
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Content Editing Programs (Photoshop) 
  • Digital Marketing, content marketing and social media 
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
