Description:
The successful candidate will be the in-house subject matter expert on SEM & SEO and will plan and implement all SEM & SEO related activities for both business segments Vitarock & dicentra. The SEM & SEO Specialist will be responsible for lead generation on paid search and email, as well as the deployment of analytics & dashboards. The SEM & SEO Specialist will manage and report on all SEO tasks and will be involved with the content workflow, publishing and ensuring all content is SEO ready.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for lead generation through paid search, including planning, executing, and optimizing all paid search campaigns for multiple business segments
Manage bidding strategies and optimizations for CPC campaigns
Create a plan for on-page and off-page SEO elements for implementation across multiple platforms
Work with IT and Marketing to implement SEO plan across all platforms
Incorporate SEO & SEM recommendations into the content and communications strategies
Provide keyword analysis for campaign ideation
Identify, establish, report, and create dashboards for KPI’s related to SEM (e.g. CTR, CR, ROAS, etc.) & SEO (e.g. page rank, authority, load times, etc.)
Program and implement conversion tracking from ads to contract won through Salesforce
Assists in content publishing to lead generation channels
Measure and report on all online activity for both Vitarock & dicentra, to show a full picture of online marketing’s revenue impact

Qualifications:
1+ years’ agency or client-side experience in a demand marketing, digital marketing, SEM, or SEO related position required
Post-secondary education
In-depth knowledge and experience using industry tools (such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, Moz, SEMRush, Keyword Planner, Wordstream, Brightedge, etc.) is required
Experience with analytics (sales, website) is required
Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, Datastudio, or Power BI) is required
Google Ads + Analytics, and/or Facebook certification required
Track-record of delivering campaigns with a positive ROI
HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and front-end web development experience a definite asset
