Wild Abandon Jewelry is looking for outgoing, inspired, sales savvy Manager to keep our studio flowing with ease and events feeling fun for all.

This position is varied and would be a great fit for someone who is interested and driven to learn all facets of our business. Position involves working directly with Devon Amelia, Creator and Designer, as well as our Director of Operations.

This is a perfect fit for someone with experience in Management who also has a vibrant and flexible way of thinking.

The ‘Studio and Market Manager’ is an individual who takes ownership and accountability for, and successfully performs many elements including the following:

Managing Team

  • Recruitment and development of a high performing team. Includes local Victoria staff, independent managers across North America and our wholesale stores.
  • Providing leadership to supervisors and staff through coaching:

> mentoring based on performance evaluation
> providing feedback in an effective manner while keeping the team inspired.

  • Retaining high performing seasonal staff
  • Engaging employees in company culture

Managing - Studio & Markets

  • Instilling and modeling Wild Abandon Jewelry’s core values
  • Maintaining a clear understanding of all studio roles and associated

responsibilities. Stepping in to various roles when needed to provide

  • Planning and implementing local/regional events.
  • Exemplifying the Wild Abandon brand and creating the ideal guest


  • Establishing relationships and partnerships within the tourism and

business community

  • Maintaining effective oversight of all aspects of the studio’s


  • Maintaining a clear understanding of all studio roles and associated



  • Establishing, monitoring and achieving key performance goals.
  • Overseeing financial performance through managing revenues,

operating expenses, and payroll costs to achieve budgeted targets.


  • Participating in our internal network-driven initiatives (marketing,

sales, human resources, business development strategies, etc.)

  • May be required to lead or participate training program development

and our independent manager initiative development and/or roll-out.

  • Carrying out various other duties as assigned by the Company


Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Min two (2) years of experience in a management role
  • Strong computer skills
  • During the summer months, must have full flexibility and be available to work weekdays as well as weekends/evenings
  • Time to travel in the winter
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience or interest in social media
  • Ability to stand for periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Current Criminal Record Check
  • Experience in event planning and or market coordination an asset.
