Our Analytics team is looking for a business intelligence ambassador, trainer and visionary to deliver data solutions ranging from data acquisition to advanced analytics capabilities. The Solution Designer will join a team whose mission, by building a modern cloud data foundation, is to deliver an effective analytics experience by facilitating access to data and enabling data driven decisions from the business.
As a Solution Designer, Business Intelligence , you’ll:
Evaluate technical and functional requirements as well as identify non-functional aspects of financial analytics solutions using cloud technologies alike Databricks, Snowflake and PySpark
Lead work done jointly with all involved parties, forefront many analytics teams in their development and collaboration with infrastructure, security and governance teams
Plan, architect and document all aspects of the analytics cloud solution using Azure DevOps, Visio and C4 diagrams
Actively participate in the implementation of the analytics cloud solution, develop core components, and ensure it is aligned with the solution design patterns proposed by the analytical team, lead in any problem-analysis during development and for production applications
Research, assess, experiment with new/current solutions or technologies to meet the constantly evolving demands, initiating and coordinating Proof of Concept (PoC) considering market capabilities and current workload of analytical teams
Demonstrate leadership abilities and engage with multiple projects and teams simultaneously
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, including at least three years in solution design
Familiarity with cloud solutions such as Azure Databricks, Snowflake and Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Data Factory
Knowledge of SQL, Python and PySpark
Experience with Power BI and Tableau Software (asset)
Knowledge of DevOps and DataOps practices
Ability to work collaboratively, cultivating meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients
