This is accomplished across four geographic management zones which are responsible for the operation of acute care health centres and the provision of a variety of inpatient, outpatient services including academic, tertiary, quaternary care and community based programs and services including continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Assistant Manager(s), the General Office Clerk is responsible for carrying out assigned clerical functions to support Accounts Receivable. The GOC performs data preparation and processing, reception, document retrieval, filing, and distribution and performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12
  • Post-secondary business diploma or certificate related to accounting or with a general accounting course or one (1)
year relevant job experience required

  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows and accounting software
  • Ability to use general office equipment
  • Proficiency in data entry
  • Basic understanding of Accounting

  • Experience working within Meditech preferred
  • Experience working within SAP preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours of Work
  • Long-assignment, full-time position; 70 hours bi-weekly
  • Approximate start date of January 06, 2020 and an expected end date of July 16, 2021 (Approx. 18 months)

Salary Information
$19.5989 - $21.3749 hourly
