Your key responsibilities :

  • Bank deposits for cheques received in Toronto
  • Sending invoices, mail and other correspondence to head office via courier as needed
  • Managing the mail and phone messages
  • Preparing and editing documents and reports
  • Maintaining the office filing system
  • Working on proposals
  • Handling receptionist duties while in the office (greeting visitors, etc.)
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the office
  • Landlord and cleaning company liaison
  • Office supply procurement
  • Office equipment management
  • Assisting with recruitment of workers as needed
  • Collecting employee information for HR purposes as needed
  • Liaising with unions as directed
  • Assisting with the preparation of tenders (photocopying, picking up bid bonds, etc.)
  • Other work as assigned

Your Skills :

The requirements:

  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • At least 3 years of relevant assistance experience
  • Class G Driver License
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, bilingualism is an asset
  • Multitasking and strong interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Drive)

SEMA offers competitive salaries and benefits, including group insurance and a pension plan. Salaries are commensurate with experience. We may provide a company vehicle or reimburse gas expenses related when personal car is used.

Work Hours are flexible - 16 to 24 hours per week.
