EMAC is looking for passionate, young or experienced, and outgoing individuals with a background in GIS and surveying to plan complaint aerial flight, operate UAV, and utilize photogrammetry processing software to meet client’s needs. Plan, organize, and execute compliant UAV flights for the following applications: surveying, GIS mapping, environmental monitoring, construction site inspections, structure and infrared inspections, mine and aggregate production, safety compliance, agriculture, emergency inspections and other applications
Utilize photogrammetry processing software to generate deliverables such as: topographic plans, orthomosaics and 3D models, contour and break lines, elevation models and calculations
Troubleshoot, maintain, and provide support for UAVs
Travel regularly, based on client needs
Do You Have What It Takes?
Education and Qualifications:
Minimum of a College Diploma in Geomatics, Geospatial studies, GIS, or related
Radio Operators Licence is an asset
Any of the following certifications and licenses are an asset: Fall Arrest, Fall Protection, WHMIS, certification, CET, CISEC
Strong understanding of GNSS / GPS Survey and precision collection methods
Experience as a GIS analyst, survey professional, photogrammetrist, or equivalent
Experience in Autodesk, AutoCAD, Pix4D Mapper Pro, or similar is an asset is preferred
Experience in the additional industries is an asset: mining and quarrying, environmental monitoring and protection, utilities and infrastructure, agriculture and forestry, and/or remote sensing
Experience operating an UAV is also as asset
