Job Type: Part time - 15-20 hours per week.
Reports to: General Manager: Surrey, BC
Relevant experience in similar positions: 5-10 years
Essential Responsibilities :
Looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Office Administrator that will be in charge for full cycle bookkeeping as well as the day-to-day management of the office.
Responsible for all accounting duties including, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and remittance preparations. Preparation of statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
General office administration and HR assistance if required.
Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills :
Experienced with Quickbooks Desktop.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work on own initiative unsupervised.
Working in a close team environment.
Work with timelines.
Post-secondary education preferred.
Understanding and good knowledge of accounting and previous experience in freight brokerage / transportation business is required.
Knowledge of Tailwind software and Quickbooks a definite asset.
