We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our Turnaround and Majors Department in the role of Turnaround planner reporting directly to the Planning Team Leader. In this position, you will develop plans and estimate durations, create executable work packages and update turnaround activities during the pre, execution and post Turnaround. This position is based in Fort McMurray.

Key Accountabilities:
Review and asses each Turnaround job for resources requirement
Develop job packs that are ready for execution in the filed
Develop detailed plans and determine critical path activities
Develop an estimated hours and cost for each job including direct and indirect labor, and material
Progress turnaround activities in Primavera P6
Update history in SAP work orders after Turnaround event

Qualifications

Experience and Education:
Previous Turnaround or Maintenance planner experience (5 to 10 years).
Alberta Interprovincial or Red Seal Journeyman ticket (various trades will be considered).
Technologists or Engineers with related experience will also be considered.
Working knowledge of Primavera (P6) and SAP.
Experience in maintenance departments and/or project management.

Skills and Abilities:
Good interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal..
Strong computer skills. Word, Excel, Primavera (P6) & SAP.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
