Centennial Foodservice is Western Canada’s leading Seafood, Poultry and Premium Meats Foodservice and Distribution Company. We are seeking a highly organized and positive individual to join the team at our Kelowna Branch.

Sales Leader (Kelowna BC)

Reporting to the Branch Manager with accountabilities to the Director of Sales, the Sales Leader will be accountable for the overall success of sales at Centennial Food Services (CFS) Branch in their area of responsibility. They will achieve this through leading a team of sales professionals in driving growth in sales at targeted margin levels while managing a sales territory. Duties include:

  • Manage and develop assigned territory
  • Develop new initiatives and plans for all Branch sales and ensure they are aligned with the strategic goals and objectives of CFS and its affiliates
  • Mentor and assist Sales Representatives with business growth
  • Train, develop and mentor the Branch Sales Team and establish a succession plan
  • Conduct regular ride alongs, and do territory reviews
  • Manage and measure the Management by Objective (MBO) program for your area
  • Plan and execute regular sales meetings
  • Provide written reports on Sales activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting for all activities in your area of responsibility
  • Ensure timely execution of Sales administrative functions
  • Maintain records to comply with CFS, and government standards
  • Ensure compliance with Marketing and Human Resources Programs
  • Champion and enforce the Code of Conduct and CFS policies and procedures
  • Lead Change and be a Brand Champion
  • Other Duties as assigned


  • Be relentless in leading a team to provide extraordinary customer service
  • 3 to 5 years progressive sales experience in a similar sized operation, or a combination of post secondary education and experience will also be considered
  • 1 to 3 years of related industry experience required
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Previous analytical, project planning, and financial management experience considered an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues and staff
  • All applicants will be required to complete a criminal and financial background check
  • Ability and willingness for travel
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Position location is Kelowna BC
