The Corporate Sales Consultant is responsible for the leasing of the rental suites to maintain optimal occupancy levels in the retirement communities across Ontario. This incumbent would be dedicated to a home based on vacancy and opportunity. The Corporate Sales Consultant will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process, lead generation, personal visits and additional visits to advance the sale. They will also provide sales support for all sales and marketing events.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Mining the CRM database and advance the sale with all Prospects;
Managing telephone inquiries, Contact Centre leads, walk-ins and emails inquiries and converting to personal visits and permanent move-ins;
Conducting personal visits, closing sales through lease signings and successfully executing the Chartwell sales process;
Conducting purposeful follow-up with Prospects in database and scheduling next activity with any Prospects without a next step and reduce past dues;
Transitioning current Prospects from hot, warm and cold;
Coordinating and facilitating marketing events as outlined in the property marketing plan designed to drive new contacts and leads;
Actively participating in the daily Team Up and the weekly management meeting to provide updates regarding new prospects, personal visits, marketing events, and other sales related information;
Working closely with the Health and Wellness Manager and adhering to the home’s process and guidelines for new residents;
Working closely with the Life Enrichment Manager and Food Service Manager to optimize and sell the value of the services;
Providing daily updates to the GM regarding sales activities and results and participating in weekly update calls with VP, Strategic Sales and DRS;
Tracking daily sales activity in the CRM database and inputting accurate and detailed notes in the CRM database;
Preparing Residency Agreements for G.M. to review and sign and maintaining pertinent records (as required);
Attending mandatory sales training and practicing our corporate values of R.E.S.P.E.C.T.;
Ensuring the confidentiality of information relating to residents, families, colleagues, prospective residents, and Chartwell Retirement Residences, etc;
Other related duties, as assigned.
The ideal candidates will possess:
Retirement industry experience (must have):
Experience in generating sales relationships;
Experience in marketing and/or customer service;
Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent;
Post-secondary education in related field (asset);
