The Manager, Product Merchandising and Planning is responsible for overseeing, driving and executing product merchandising strategies, line development, business analysis and pricing.This role will manage and develop the Merchandise Planners, ensuring optimum efficiencies around planning and allocation of product for PANDORA stores (concept, outlet, and franchise) in Canada, optimizing opportunities to collaborate with other functional areas of the business to drive sales and results.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Forecast, price, edit and assort product lines that will drive incremental growth, ensuring alignment with broader merchandise strategies and financial goals
  • Partner with US counterparts to develop and execute DV management, local assortments, and hindsight analyses
  • Assist to develop seasonal assortment architecture whilst supporting PANDORA strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Franchise owners on inventory, sell-in, and product planning and allocation
  • Partner with Trend Spotters to integrate critical trend and market intelligence into merchandise assortments, packaging, and promotional activity
  • Contribute to seasonal pricing finalization, partnering with US Merchandising team on execution, and final communication to CPH Merchandising team
  • Drive NAM merchandise packaging and GWP activities in partnership with internal NAM team members and key CPH partners
  • Assist to develop effective DV planograms for all categories and dealer levels
  • Assist to develop unique merchandise assortments for Key National Accounts
  • Assist to develop style direction for customer facing Marketing pieces
  • Providing coaching and development to Merchandise Planners, Allocators
Skills and Experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a similar position with a retail brand
  • Well developed business acumen, strong inventory management skills and retail sales analysis expertise, must be comfortable working with a large number of SKUs

  • Excellent presentation skills with proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Advanced proficiency using MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Focused on the development of team members and their progress as well as their own career development
