Major Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the storage of food, both incoming stock

2. Responsible for preparing ingredients before cooking, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or cleaning seafood

3. Ensure proper receiving is done and food is stored in the appropriate conditions

4. Responsible for his or her own station, ensuring that all items are appropriately cleaned and ready for use before and after each shift

5. Ensure recipes, ingredient specifications, quantity, quality, cooking time as stated in the SOPs are being executed

6. Ensure the kitchen meets sanitation standards as set by the Head Chef and Food safety

7. Ensure product quality, food safety, freshness and FIFO is strictly practiced within the department

8. Ensure that food is properly stored and handled at all times by ensuring all temperature records are properly completed

9. Responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance ; ensure garbage, recycled materials and other disposable items are handled timely and properly

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
1. Possess knowledge、skills and prior experience in making Kitchen Deli products (BBQ, Hot Foods, Dim Sum, Sushi and/or others Semi-finished Products)

2. Possess 1 to 3 years and/or above relevant experience

1. Possess knowledge in workplace health & safety and food safety (Food Safe Certification is preferred)

3. Good communication skills, able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) an asset

4. Flexible to work in various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, morning and evening hours
