CASCADES TISSUE GROUP
The Tissue Group, a division of Cascades, is the second-largest tissue producer in Canada and the fifth-largest in North America. The Division manufactures, converts and markets a huge selection of paper products, such as hand towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, napkins, paper towels, wipers and dispensers for the North American away-from-home and consumer products markets. The Group has more than 2,200 employees and operates seven manufacturing plants, nine conversion plants and four plants with both manufacturing and conversion facilities.
As part of major investment projects in tissue conversion equipment within our Cascades Tissue Group division, we are looking for a Major Projects Manager to join our team. If you have expertise in managing major projects, we would like to meet you!
The Major Projects Manager will have the following main responsibilities:
Plan, execute, control and close projects according to the project process in place for multidisciplinary projects with matrix resource management;
Deliver what is expected on time, on budget, on quality and in terms of customer satisfaction for multi-disciplinary projects with matrix resource management;
Ensure that its matrix resources apply and respect the procurement process in effect;
Coordinate various projects assigned to him;
Participate in the continuous improvement of processes, management tools and best practices;
Take charge of the approval of control points in all projects under his responsibility.
The Major Projects Manager must have the following qualifications:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering;
10 years experience in a similar role;
Experience in manufacturing, pulp and paper or engineering;
MBA and/or PMP (an asset);
Be fluently bilingual;
Demonstrate unifying leadership and experience in an influential role;
Be organized, structured and rigorous;
Be available to travel in North America as part of his/her duties.
