Position Summary:
Reporting to PointClickCare’s Vice President, Clinical strategy, the Senior Product Leader (SPL), Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Care Content is responsible for driving the company’s EHR clinical content strategy & delivery through PointClickCare applications.
In your senior product leadership role, you ensure PointClickCare’s EHR modules, products and associated services are compliant with industry standards, aligned with market demand, meeting or exceeding customer expectations, and exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and drive PointClickCare’s overall EHR and Care Content strategy.
Maintain compliance and expand coverage of Electronic Health Record standards for PointClickCare’s clinical product portfolio (across segments / geographies).
Envision viable new content strategies & solutions with a focus on understanding customer business problems / opportunities.
Iteratively test concepts with customers & prospects to inform decisions.
Coordinate content and functional product roadmaps across PointClickCare’s product portfolio.
Drive value propositions for Care Content and associated services.
Mature PointClickCare’s Content Distribution Strategy and Infrastructure.
Define & refine production milestones, success metrics and go-to-market efforts.
Establish and maintain quality and training programs for Content Partners.
Establish & manage relationships with internal and external content stakeholders
  • With Market Segment teams, identify and prioritize content needs
  • Collaborative with Product Management & Engineering teams to drive product development projects through the planning, definition, development, testing, and pre-launch phases
  • With Product Marketing and Go-To-Market teams, ensure successful launch of new & enhanced care content and associated services
  • Conduct in-depth analysis for Care Content and associated services
  • Track in-market adoption and success of production content solutions
  • Stay abreast of changing customer needs and industry trends
  • Monitor secondary research and market data
  • Collect and summarize customer feedback to drive satisfaction and adoption
Drive results through effective communication – build rapport, anticipate and prepare for questions, communicate calmly under pressure and be a good listener.
Maintaining performance standards if working remotely (where applicable)
Represent PointClickCare with a high degree of knowledge, integrity and professionalism
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in informatics, computer science, information technology, or healthcare-related related field of study; Masters Degree preferred
Proven track record managing commercial software products through the entire product lifecycle at an experienced level
Proven experience working on EHR / Care Content related solutions.
Working knowledge of standard clinical concepts/terminology e.g. SNOMED, LOINC, UMLS and other applicable standards.
Proven ability leading cross-functional teams (without formal authority) to solve problems.
Strong skills communicating effectively with internal and external stake holders, both orally and in writing.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment, preferably Scrum.
Relevant direct experience in the clinical domain—focus on nursing care and/or the Senior Care market preferred.
