The Terrain Park Crew (Ranger{s}) will be responsible for the daily maintenance of all terrain park zones including, the shoveling, the installation, and raking of all features, proper placement of all fencing, signs, markers, and the documentation of all relevant information as per liability and risk management. The Terrain Park Crew is also responsible to monitor rider/skier safety, and report to patrol if any injuries occur. Monitoring the daily traffic, and the documentation of all maintenance related to the upkeep of the features as required throughout the day, from wear and tear. Throughout the season, the Terrain Park Crew will assist with the Events team as needed.

Responsibilities
Proper maintenance involving raking, shoveling, salting, inspecting of all features throughout the day, depending on traffic, and snow conditions.
After maintenance has been performed it must be documented in the daily conditions report (log sheets) along with current weather/snow conditions, and inspections for liability purpose
To ensure utmost safety and awareness of our guest (s), park users, skiers and riders. The Terrain Park Crew must ensure that all fencing, signs, feature markers, and entranceways are properly setup and visible to everyone during operating hours. The Terrain Park Crew must, also take down the signs, and entrances, for grooming and maintenance.
The Terrain Park Crew must keep an eye on users, and guests using the Terrain Parks throughout the day, and watch out for them and their presence according to ability levels, attitude, and educate our customers on an ongoing basis.
Assisting with events including setup, maintenance, and breakdown on as per needed basis.
Interacting with customers on a daily basis to educate and inform them of rules and etiquette of the terrain parks, future layout, reasoning behind, and consideration of their input and ideas.
Practice good house keeping.
Qualifications &Skills
Strong alpine skier/boarder/telemarker in all snow terrain and conditions
Capable of skiing/riding with toboggans, fencing supplies and signage
Physically fit with a high level of fitness and able to work in all weather conditions
Freestyle knowledge is an asset
2-3 years Terrain Park experience is perfered, but will train the righ candidate
Type & Duration

Seasonal - November 18, 2019 to April 5, 2020

Salary

$13.85 per hour, season pass and other great benefits.
