Job title - Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identifying and attracting “right fit” talent
  • Job description creation, revision, and addendum
  • Change management of employee roles and processes
  • Define and express a workplace culture
  • Communicate and nurture that culture
  • Organize employee engagement events
  • Workforce behavior planning
  • Tracking and monitoring employee development, in cooperation with managers
  • Develop metrics and performance evaluations
  • Celebrating team members success
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Employee discipline and accountability, including workplace investigations.
  • Managing, in partnership with business leaders, full employee life-cycle; including hiring, onboarding, development and termination
  • Continuous study of all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices to keep up to date
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job description for all positions
  • Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resource policies and governmental laws and regulations. Minimize risk.
  • Manages employee communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, suggestion programs, employee engagement surveys, newsletters, employee focus groups, one-on-one meetings, and Intranet use.
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accuracy with pay and benefits administration.
  • Implements employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits
  • Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.
  • Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

A Human Resources degree will give candidates an edge in selection, as will more than 3 years experience in Human Resource Management.

Neither knowledge of the retail automotive industry nor automotive dealership experience is necessary. We already have expertise in dealership management, but require an expert in talent acquisition and human resource development.
