We are currently looking for someone passionate about Real Estate and motivated to learn more! Our office is growing and we are looking for a positive and enthusiastic new addition to our fast-paced team! This role will be supporting various areas within the company and is not limited to Real Estate, and will also include mortgage, property management, and bookkeeping.

Job Description

  • Record day to day financial transaction
  • Day to day bookkeeping responsibilities, including preparing invoices as required
  • Organize system database, including data entry and data filing
  • Assisting market research and data input
  • Supporting background work of real estate and mortgage transactions
  • Prepare offers and upload listings onto MLS
  • Act as the first line of contact with clients, tenants, and vendors
  • General correspondence including email, telephone, and in person interaction with clients
  • Answering the phone, taking messages, sorting mail
  • Administer and enforce client confidentiality
  • Create and send various types of data sheets
  • Schedule meetings and showings
  • Provides other administrative support, as required

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Language proficiency in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset
  • Experience within the real estate, mortgage, or property management industry is an asset
  • Experience with MLS is an asset
  • Previous experience in an office environment asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (Mac OS is an asset)
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written)
  • Must be organized and have strong attention to detail
  • Flexible, motivated and take initiative to learn new tasks
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, must have the ability to multitask
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as they arise
  • Ability to quickly learn industry specific programs
