The Regional Sales Manager – Gucci Group Watches and Jewelry – Western Canada will be responsible for all accounts in the region and for providing unparalleled customer service in order to achieve and exceed the sales budget. He/she will reinforce the brand image and exploit brand presence in both independent and department store accounts through marketing, training, merchandising and in-store sales support.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals within region as specified by the Director of Sales, and achieve EBITA goals as determined;
Cultivate active dialogue with clients regarding product, brand positioning, marketing and growth opportunities, developing action-oriented proposals with the Director of Sales;
Communicate and collaborate with the field team to drive and grow business and review sales trends and seasonal projections with management; advise management of threatening conditions and environments;
Make effective and regular visits to all doors by the team and conduct general business review with retailers and buyers;
Conduct regular and ongoing trainings, both informal in-store and formal regional trainings;
Merchandise each POS and work with marketing team in adherence with corporate guidelines to maximize sales and brand exposure, and work with the team to have each point of service develop and grow our visual presence within the store and mall/vicinity;
Update sales associates and store personnel on new product launches, advertising, technical information – i.e. utilizing all tools to maximize the sales potential;
Work closely with all internal company departments: Customer Service, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure corporate guidelines and procedures are followed and budgets are adhered to;
Provide unparalleled customer service and follow up to each retailer;
Coordinate in-store needs for seasonal sales campaigns and events – i.e. trunk shows, sales incentives, and peak season sales support;
Develop new clients/doors that meet brand image and growth plan and close existing doors with unsatisfactory image, sales results or payment history;
Adhere to all company budgets, policies and procedures.
BA or BS Bachelor degree and 5+ years’ experience in related field;
Display exceptional selling, communication and organizational skills;
Have a proven track record of achieving sales goals;
Multitask in a fast-paced, ever-changing, international work environment;
Be open to schedule flexibility and adaptability;
Able to effectively communicate with all levels of management;
Strong identification with and sensitivity for the brand;
High interest in and aptitude for unparalleled customer service;
Positive and contagious energy, motivation and pragmatism;
Strong retail fashion/luxury background;
Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle;
Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently;
Professionally groomed in keeping with Gucci Image and standards;
Ability to maintain business relationships and foster new ones;
Knowledge and experience of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
