The Group Benefits Wellness Team is looking for a self-motivated, relationship builder to join their team as a Bilingual Senior Health & Wellness Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating a variety of integrated worksite wellness solutions to our Group Benefit clients. This role is responsible for relationship management and delivery of services with Group clients specific to Wellness services and products as well as managing the multiple Wellness vendor relationships.
This role will work very closely with a variety of areas within Group Benefits to support various client initiatives related to Health & Wellness, including our Product and Digital teams. This role is an individual contributor and is front-line client facing – and will have accountability for delivering integrated health and wellness solutions for Group clients and directly supporting our Marketing and Sales Distribution organization.
Location: The successful candidate can reside anywhere in Canada however frequent travel to the Montreal office and to other locations in the province of Quebec, as well as to other locations across Canada, to meet client and business needs is required)

Your responsibilities will include:
Guiding and supporting employers in Quebec, and across Canada, in designing, implementing and evaluating robust wellness strategies and programs
Prepares and administers wellness proposals, scope of work documents and service agreements
Designing, implementing and evaluating solutions for customers to help them improve their overall health and disability claims experience
Identifying current gaps and bringing forward opportunities to the Product and Marketing Teams to ensure Manulife’s wellness offering meet clients current needs and remains strategic and competitive in the marketplace
Representing Manulife at a variety of internal and external conferences, trade shows and events, on an as needed basis; successful candidate should be comfortable, confident and experienced presenting to and interacting with audiences of all sizes in both languages
Supporting the Sales Team in managing requests for wellness fairs and other events they attend (e.g. responding to inquiries and sourcing appropriate resources in a timely manner)
Working with multiple objectives, conflicting priorities and complex issues in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Professionally managing a variety of stakeholders simultaneously—balancing Manulife risk & customer service
Demonstrating knowledge of vendor contracting agreements with a proven ability to manage vendor relationships
Interacting with peers to share experiences and challenges and brainstorm suitable solutions for clients both now and in the future
Candidate must be fully bilingual (English/French) and comfortable consulting, presenting and writing in French.
Bachelor's degree required in a health-related field
Master’s degree in Health Promotion field or Certification in Workplace Wellness field is an asset
Minimum of 5-7 years consulting experience in the wellness industry, some of which should be in Quebec, working with clients with diverse needs.
Certification in Healthy Enterprise and/or Excellence Canada is an asset
Demonstrated working knowledge of Canada’s Voluntary National Psychological Safe and Healthy Workplace Standard
Demonstrated leadership experience managing numerous projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
Thorough understanding of wellness, digital health programs, pharmaceutical drugs, and disability management business, products and technology
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French
Demonstrated exceptional presentation skills with clients and within the industry
Showcasing a strong knowledge of both mental and physical wellness and the ability to work with organizations on a multitude of initiatives to create healthy workplace environments
Demonstrating superior project management, process management, organizational and administrative skills; candidate should be passionate about process documentation as well as comfortable preparing project plans, agendas and minutes.
Exhibiting excellent interpersonal, motivational, influencing and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrating a strong customer service orientation; willingness to go above and beyond to propose strategic, creative solutions that meet customers’ ever evolving needs.
Demonstrated strong problem solving and solid analytical skills—in particular with health benefit data and trend analysis as well as working through complex client issues in order to propose suitable solutions in a timely manner
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) as well as familiarity with Webinars and Skype for Business
Some travel is required in this position. Amount of travel will vary based on client and business demands. Valid driver's license and passport for business travel purposes.
