What You Do:
The Senior Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) is a technical sales/architect role which requires a mixture of business, consulting ability, technical and sales skills. You will develop and maintain proven and trusted customer relationships at all levels in your assigned territory. As a strategic thinker and technology influencer, you will create roadmaps and technical plans to advance the strategic goals of your clients, driving business value via the recommendation of TELUS products and services. You will lead the architecture development of innovative solutions, across all TELUS capabilities in:
Unified Communications and Contact Centre
Private/Public and hybrid clouds
Internet of Things and Mobile solutions
Cloud based solutions
Emerging technologies such as “3rd Platform” solutions

Business Solutions and Customer Relationship and Solutions Management (CRSM) provide end-to-end sales, marketing and post-sales business customer support for British Columbia and Alberta. Our Business Solutions Sales team is dedicated to supporting business customers in Western Canada. We help connect our customers with industry-leading technology solutions to create opportunities and solve business challenges across both public and private sectors and across various segments.
The Business Solutions CRSM team provides customer solutions architecture, deal pursuit, solutions delivery, customer care, and operations support for TELUS business customers across all segments.
What You Bring:
Customers First passion and excellence in customer relationship development
Enterprise and Systems Architecture fundamentals
7+ years of experience in leading the architecture of solutions across multiple technologies
Experience in leading and facilitating: Workshops, Whiteboard discussions, Technology roadmaps, and Consulting conversations with customers
Proven track record in effectively working and leveraging resources cross-functionally in an organization to lead an initiative or technical solution
Technical understanding across multiple solution portfolios such as: Telecommunications, Mobility, Unified Communications, Security, Cloud and IT Hosting Solutions
Ability to formulate solutions in a complex technology and business environment
Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills; be seen as a peer and advisor to executive-level clients leading them to embrace TELUS solutions as strategic to their business
Ability to discuss customer solution benefits from both a technical and financial perspective
Demonstrated competency to develop competitive value-add solutions through creativity and innovation
Post-secondary degree or technical diploma in computer science/engineering or equivalent
One or more industry-recognized certifications (e.g. TOGAF, etc.) will be definite assets
Sales training/account planning is a definite asset
