Position Profile:

Ensures the Trump Champagne Lounge consistently delivers an exquisite, world-class level, food and beverage experience to our guests while creating a fun and rewarding environment for our team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Creates, markets and drives exciting food and beverage programs and events
  • Actively assist Marketing/PR team with the Champagne Lounge social media accounts and constantly drives innovation by actively promoting the Lounge within the community
  • Oversees customer database and guest experiences, and has excellent service recovery skills
  • Has a thorough understanding of food and beverage and upsell skills
  • Ensures all events and private bookings are executed with highest standards of service
  • Liaise with kitchen on daily operations and quality control
  • Provides courteous, professional and efficient service to guests and associates
  • Ensures the lounge is managed efficiently and effectively, conducts pre-shift briefings daily
  • Oversees service team in regards to training, ensuring F&B knowledge, responsibilities
  • Manages interview process and hiring of staff and ensures proper documentation
  • Through hands on management, supervises performance of each associate
  • Leads training initiatives according to the company’s philosophies, develops a multi skilled team
  • Influences high employee morale and ensures a fun but disciplined environment for a five star team
  • Develops and maintains a detailed operational manual that reflects policies and procedures, work processes and standards of performance
  • Appropriately delegates responsibilities ensuring standards of operation and safety are maintained
  • Ensures compliance and employees have a complete understanding of rules and regulation
  • Performs the monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies
  • Regular review of the budget for staff costs, food costs and beverage costs
  • Ensure venue is fully staffed at all times and if understaffed is responsible to helping to source candidate
  • Ensures schedule is created in accordance to business needs as well as employee well being
  • Oversees any administrative duties while ensuring efficient and accurate reporting
  • Oversees collection and submissions of payroll related items and leave forms to the Human Resources
  • Ensures accurate reporting of all staff costs
  • Gathers and sets deadlines for reporting in relation to financials, payroll, associate count

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ food and beverage management experience in high end Restaurants and/or Lounges
  • Fluent in English; additional language is an asset, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Neat and polished appearance, exhibits the most professional and authentic behavior
  • Outstanding ability to attract, develop and motivate all team members
  • In depth knowledge of wine, spirits, mixology, and service techniques
  • Well-developed computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office, ADP, Unifocus, and Micros
  • Sound Understanding of business financial reporting, productivity requirements, P&L statements
  • Demonstrated adeptness and creativity in promotions, marketing and social media
