Your Opportunity:
Patient Safety Reporting & Analysis (PSRA) provides broad analytic support on topics of safety in addition to supporting the Reporting & Learning System for Patient Safety (RLS). As an Health Information Management Professional II on the team, you will support multiple aspects of the team's work, ranging from RLS event classification to Tableau dashboard creation to ad hoc information requests. You will be supported by your team members as you learn new tasks unique to PSRA. You will also take over existing projects with which you are more familiar. This opportunity is a temporary position (mat leave coverage) with Clinical Quality Metrics, Analytics (DIMR).

Description:
As a Health Information Management Professional (HIMP) II, you will provide leadership in the development, implementation and reporting for health information services. You will be responsible for the coordination of daily operations as well as training new staff in your assigned area. You will deliver operational guidance and support to ensure that clinical information is timely, accurate and valid.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of diploma from an accredited Health Information Management Professional (HIMP) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA).

Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards. Functional expertise with SQL. Experience with the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Knowledge of and experience with the Reporting & Learning System for Patient Safety (RLS).

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Tableau Prep. Report preparation and writing.
