If you are a reliable, hard-working, energetic and experienced housekeeper (bondable) who enjoys working for an active family with high standards, this is the job for you!
I am looking for someone who is able to manage the cleaning and house-keeping of a chalet situated in the mountains of Whistler, BC. This home is approximately 10,000 square feet with multiple structures that need to be very well kept and forensically clean at all times. Duties would include: general house-keeping - dusting, vacuuming, mopping, appliance upkeep, bed-making, tidying up after kids, dishes and some windows. There are 2 adults and 4 (sometimes 5) children in the family (no pets) however we entertain often where guests stay for the weekend or week. You would be required to work Monday to Saturday, hours to be discussed, starting immediately.
It is very important that the candidate is conscientious, friendly and great with children.

**When we are here***
Keep the vacuum on the whole time- the more vacuuming the better it’s the most effective way to get rid of dust. (There should be at least one whole bin full of dust per day if not more).
The Vacuum is for cleaning the floors, behind doors, corners, baseboards, behind side tables and all surfaces shelves, fireplace, toy bins inside and out etc... be super detailed and use other attachments. Be super detailed- behind the doors, behind the side tables, on top and the baseboards. You have to move the side tables and other furniture to clean well.
Vacuum the hallway, entrance and stairs daily. (This should take at least 30 minutes, remove the rug and Vacuum under the rug and vacuum the rug as well.) Front door, basement door and back door repeat.
Mop bathroom floors daily with disinfecting product. Don’t share the same mop as the kitchen. Keep one just for the bathrooms.

Clean inside the kitchen drawers (use the Dyson small attachment then paper towel and cleaning product).
Fridge and freezer- the shelves and drawer needs to be removed and washed with soap and water in the sink. Dry well with paper towel.
Deep cleaning the mudroom- shelves, inside the bins, the seat (use couch attachment from the Dyson) etc... (always remove everything before cleaning)
Clean the washing machine and dryer- the rubber inside the washing machine open it and use Lysol wipes to clean build up or use paper towel and disinfecting spray. The dryer use Dyson to vacuum inside the filter. Clean and organize inside the closets and vacuum and mop the floor.
When everything is done focus on removing dust from the house, curtains, inside all of the closets including the kids and basement, tv room.
Each suite should be at least 30 minutes of cleaning each. Includes inside the closets, all of the surfaces, behind the side tables, the accessories such as lamps, always vacuum under and the bath rugs etc.
The playroom should take a good hour. Remove all the toys place them on top of a new garbage bag so they don’t attach to the lint, vacuum inside and outside all of the toy bins. Clean all of the toys then place them back inside the bin.
If you don’t know which attachment to use for the rugs or dust as an example send me a text or google Dyson attachments and they show in detailed one by one. The couch should also be vacuum but PLEASE make sure it’s the right one or you will pull all of the fabric.
