We’re looking for an IT Operations Analyst to join our Burnaby, BC global headquarters
The Operations Analyst’s role is to ensure that the performance obligations of in-house computing systems are met - by gathering and analyzing data in support of systems management, maintenance, and performance. This individual will also be a subject matter expert in desktop management and automation areas in addition to providing Level 2 IT escalation support. He/she will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve malfunctions and make the appropriate recommendations in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
In this role you’ll:
Participate in projects and program initiatives as technical SMEs in the areas of desktop computing, automation, configuration and equipment set up, images and software installations, support and productivity tools, monitoring and automated updates.
Install new software releases and system upgrades, participate in change management and release management planning.
Plan, test and install system updates and assist in coming up with the annual Operations roadmap for refreshes and upgrades.
Assist database administrators, programmers, software engineers and network analysts in the deployment and performance analysis of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Support project managers, systems administrators, and end users to define systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Evaluate and install software and security patches on the desktop (install-only on the server).
Responsible for job scheduling, Windows print services, basic filer administration and User ID administration.
Provide desktop management administration and support
Provide some tier 2 system support and ticket resolution.
Provide escalation support for helpdesk and ticket resolution when needed.
Identify and resolve operating system issues in order to maintain services, enhance capabilities, and prevent system outages.

Here’s what you bring:
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information science, or management information systems
Five to seven (5-7) years of IT related work experience
Intermediate configuration/administration skills and in-depth experience in SCCM Current Brach
Experience in Sharepoint Online administration/development Administration/hands-on experience with some/all of the following:
MDM - InTune/EMS
Office 365/Exchange Online
SentinelOne, CarbonBlack (or similar enterprise cloud AV or app whitelisting solutions)
Hands on experience in some/all of the following:
Script writing (Powershell)
Database or reporting scripts (SQL)
Patch management (Software/Windows Update)
