| Web Developer Location: Sysco Corporate Job Code: 344 # of openings: 1 Description Web Developer Reports to: Manager, Application Development Location: Calgary, AB Job Purpose: The purpose of the job is to build software applications to provide support and enhance Sysco Canada's Intranet site, the eSysco On-line Ordering System and web applications. Duties & Responsibilities : • Recommend new web technologies to utilize, such as browsers, languages, and plug-ins, to develop Sysco Canada's Intranet and Internet systems. • Maintain and improve Sysco Canada’s Intranet, eSysco system and other internal web applications. • Produce the appropriate changes to the different web applications and customize where appropriate. • Gather feedback from internal customers on development needs. • Test changes within a test environment to check for errors, debug errors, and retest prior to live production. • Support the Helpdesk Analysts in determining the origin of issues related to the Intranet, eSysco and other web applications. • Maintain eSysco Production Servers, eSysco Test Servers, Intranet Production Server, Intranet Test Server.
