| The Kativik Regional Government, a supra-municipal body having jurisdiction over the territory north of the 55th parallel, notably provides technical assistance to the 14 villages of Nunavik. The Municipal Public Works Department (MPW) of the KRG is responsible to manage infrastructure projects for the municipalities (sewage lagoons, water treatment plants, roads infrastructures, buildings) and for the KRG. It is also responsible to provide technical assistance to the 14 Northern Villages (NVs) in matters related to operation and maintenance of their drinkable water treatment infrastructures. For the purpose of executing this agreement, KRG is currently looking for a person to fill the following position: -WATER PLANT OPERATORS INSTRUCTOR - Reporting to the Assistant Department Director the Water plant operators instructors duties and responsibilities will include, without being limited to: Follow up of process of certification of water plant operators and train them to obtain their certification (chlorine dosage calculation, health and security, classified zones, water quality); Train on operation and maintenance of specialized water treatment equipments; Implement of procedures .... |
