| Warehouse Supervisor Job ID: C6487 Location: Calgary Categories: Distribution, Operations Details: Our client is currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for their Calgary warehouse and distribution facility. This position reports to the Western Operations Manager, and is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling the warehouse team of the distribution center. This is to be accomplished utilizing continuous improvement strategies, sound business acumen, people management, planning and organization skills. Responsibilities: • Provide direction to warehouse team to ensure on timely processing of inventory receipts, order preparation, expedition and returns; • Promote and maintain strong teamwork. Participate in the recruitment and lead new employee training; • Conduct employee performance reviews and establish team objective;. • Ensure employee compliance to all corporate and departmental work policies and procedures; • Assist in the warehouse process and layout modifications from a physical and systematic standpoint; • Evaluate training needs for warehouse employees Qualifications: • Post Secondary educatio.... |
