| Warehouse Operations Shift Manager (Afternoons) Under the general direction of the facility?s Director, you are accountable for all activities relating to goods and inventories. In addition, you will be required to supervise and conduct activities relating to order filling, stock replacement, shipping, budgeting, inventory management and managing personnel. You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining warehouse functions and processes by ensuring that daily operational goals are met through the assignment of duties, allocation of staff and utilization of equipment. You may be assigned to the various functional areas and shifts of the facility as needed, however, this opportunity is based on the afternoon shift (4:00 pm to midnight). You possess a post-secondary education in Logistics or Operations Management or equivalent business experience in a unionized retail warehouse environment. Strong managerial, interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills are required. You bring a sound knowledge of logistics procedures and practices, warehouse fundamentals and inventory management, as well as demonstrated success in a supervisory capacity in a .... |
