| Warehouse manager directs, coordinates and plans the warehouse storage and distribution of the products and materials within the branch location. Supervises the activities of employees and be responsible for safety development. Essential Job Functions: Supervising, training and hiring of employees to work in the warehouse; Ensuring that all appropriate safety regulations are being followed; Ensuring that all warehouse personnel receive proper training and certification to handle equipment; Scheduling merchandise deliveries and pickups for drivers; Checking and verifying shipping records, handling questions or concerns of shipping shortages or overages and addressing any problems with inventory control; Coordinating with other departments to ensure that warehouse operations are running efficiently; Conducting yearly performance evaluation on all warehouse personnel; Overseeing inventory control and processing orders; Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met; Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment; Overseeing the maintenance and repair of vehicles, machinery and equipment; Managers must be able to make allowance for unexpected s.... |
