| Title: Ward Clerk Job Type: Temporary Full-time Location: Bow-Crest Care Centre, Calgary, AB Apply By: February 26, 2012 Responsibilities Answers incoming telephone lines and takes and relays messages as required. Receives visitors and directs them as appropriate. Assists with resident information on lab requisitions for residents. Performs filing assignments for the Director of Care. Assists with labeling of residents? belongings. Under the direction of the Director of Care, will prepare and post the nursing schedule and will be responsible for the maintenance of the schedule daily (includes telephoning staff). Inputs changes to the staff schedules daily and presents them for final approval by DOC. Carries out various clerical duties and prepares reports as required. Booking of ambulances and other transportation as required by Reg. Staff. Maintains or assists in maintenance of resident records and files. Distributes disposable diapers daily to each unit under the direction of the DOC. Assists DOC in calculating individual resident incontinent use from the incontinent data sheet. Other duties as assigned. Ensures resident satisfaction and continuous quality improvement initiatives.... |
