| Videographer/Reporter Business Units: Radio Location: Smithers (BC) # of openings: 1 End Date: 23/01/12 Description Videographer/radio reporter (Full-time permanent position, CEP Group 2) Reports to : Radio and Television News Director – BC North Address: 1280 Main Street Smithers, British Columbia V0J 2N0 Responsibilities : The primary responsibility of the Videographer/Radio Reporter is to track down stories, attend news events and edit and produce stories for radio, television and the web. The beat reporter provides the flexibility to cover news conferences, breaking news stories and regularly scheduled news conferences across the Northwest. Located at our office on Main Street in Smithers, the Videographer/Radio Reporter will be part of a team of reporters and anchors covering the Northwest BC region from the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District to the North Coast, and up to the Alaska Border. In this job you will: Develop community contacts in the Bulkley Valley/Lakes District. Attend news events, chase stories and follow up on files. Edit and produce stories for television, radio and the web on a daily basis. Work with team members to develop story ideas and co-ord.... |
