Job Summary: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Acute Care & Chief
Nursing Officer (VPAC-CNO) is responsible for providing leadership for all regional acute care
services, and for patient care services provided by nurses, including policy and procedure
development, oversight, and evaluation. As a member of our collaborative executive management
team, you will also actively participate in effective operation of our regional health authority by
contributing to strategic planning, to oversight of all regional operations, program and service
evaluations, and to budget. You will also ensure that all conduct and operations are in compliance
with the appropriate professional standards, scopes of practice and codes of ethics; and that all
professional relationships and activities with all levels of the organization, governments, unions,
regional stakeholders and the public are also in keeping with the vision, mission and values of the
orga.... |
