| Unit Clerk Fairview Home Casual Days/Evenings - Weekdays/Weekends - Rotation HOURLY WAGE: $17.044 - $19.759 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent Must be competent with Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) Medical Terminology course (within three months of employment) Previous experience with computerized scheduling programs Previous office experience Accurate typing ability Knowledge of filing systems Previous experience of Inventory Control Previous experience of Health Records Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically Experience arranging appointments, escorts and transportation Advanced level of written and oral communication skills Strong organizational, decision making and problem solving skills Ability to produce neat and accurate work Ability to display independent judgement Ability to work with all staff Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population Ability to respect and promote confidentiality Ability to perform the duties of the position on a regular basis This position is subject to a Criminal Records Check and a Child Abuse Registry Check.
