| Unit Claims Manager - Auto Job ID: 103465 Location: Winnipeg Return to Previous Page Responsibilities Unit Claims Manager - Claims Customer Service Centre, Property The UCM - CSC is responsible for managing and controlling the operations of the CSC staff to meet corporate objects, provides technical expertise and leadership to ensure efficient and effective work processes, quality service, and continuous improvement and directs resources within budget allocation and ensures adherence to corporate policies and standards. This role is stationed in the Winnipeg Intact office and is available immediately. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Manages the operations of the CSC to achieve key business goals. Monitors and participates in Specialists’ activities and reports on progress. Provides leadership to the team including communicating corporate philosophy, vision, and values. Acts in a consultative and advisory capacity on claims matters and technical issues such as liability determination, investigation, policy interpretation, settlement negotiation, and reserve establishment for claims.
