| Underwriting Assistant, Mid Market Job Code: 4075 Location: Edmonton, AB Department: Commercial Insurance # of openings: 1 Job Type: Contract Closing Date: 25/01/12 Description We have an immediate opening for an energetic team player, capable of working in a fast paced environment. Reporting to the Commercial Lines Team Leader, Mid-Market, you will be accountable for providing superior service, in an underwriting support role, to the Commercial Lines Mid-Market Team. Please note that this is a 12 month contract opportunity. Specific Responsibilities: Gathering background information on new commercial business. Entering new business, renewals and endorsements into the ECOM system. Typing and coding off-system policies, endorsements, forms, letters. Maintaining electronic logs and account specific spreadsheets. Ordering and reviewing reports . Filing and general clerical duties as required. Personal Characteristics: Professional, friendly and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co-workers. Perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure. Team player adaptable to a changing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Qualification.... |
