| Truck Mechanic Job ID#: 1481 City: Truro - Click here to learn more about the city State/Province: Nova Scotia Job Description: We are looking for a few Licensed Truck Mechanic's for one of Nova Scotia's fastest growing repair shops. Main responsibilities will be to maintain, diagnose and repair all systems of trucks and provide exceptional customer service when required. A strong background in engines and electrical diagnostics will be considered a strong asset. Preference will be given to those with previous experience and training on CAT, Cummins, Detroit and/or Mercedes Engines with over haul experience. A Journeyman license is preferred, however, Senior Apprentices are encouraged to apply. Compensation: $20.00 - $25.50/hour. Flexible depending on experience, with full benefits after 3 month probationary and a boot allowance. Shift: Days, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility to work alternating Saturdays once a month.
