| Truck Driver Location Grande Prairie Job Type General Description Job summary Class 1 driver’s license Experience loading, securing and transporting various types of heavy equipment Must be able to operate a tractor/trailer unit in city traffic Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and loaded, ensuring safety and road worthiness Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver’s hours, occupational health and safety Perform pre-trip vehicle inspection to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order Maintain daily logs, inspection logs and other necessary paperwork Abilities required Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies Work overtime as required Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
