| Training Specialist Posted Date: 19-01-2012 Location: Chalk River, Ontario, Canada Description: Duties: The Training Specialist is responsible for the design, development and delivery of Operations training programs. The incumbent will develop and implement initial and continuing training programs for Operations personnel and will ensure adherence to corporate requirements (CW-510000-MAN-001, Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and any and all requirements prescribed by external regulating organizations. Specific responsibilities include: Development, conduct and evaluation of Operations Training programs, using the AECL Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). Conducts classroom and on the job training, including testing and field checkouts for both initial and continuing training activities. Reviews and revises, or assists in the review and revision of, training material. Prepares training program documentation with the assistance of Subject Matter Experts. Verifies the accuracy of procedures, drawings and manuals and the writing of Operating Manuals and Procedures, as required.
