| POSITION DETAIL Trailer Technician - Calgary Department: Service Location: Calgary, AB Job Type: Full Time Professional Areas: Technicians Description: Position Summary Diagnoses and completes repairs and/or services on heavy-duty trailers to ensure customer satisfaction and profits for Maxim while working as a member of a team. Responsibilities 1. Services units - Prepares customer/company vehicles, conducts repairs/service as directed by the Foreman, and notifies Foreman of any additional repairs needed. May repair units by researching job, removing components, making adjustments, replacing or repairing parts, and reassembling unit. Updates Foreman regarding unforeseen problems or completion time changes so the customer can be notified. May provide guidance to apprentice mechanics during repairs. (69%) Performance Coaching Standards Quality work is completed according to shop productivity standards No units returned for the same problem due to workmanship All components removed and replaced without damage before unit leaves Technician notifying Foreman as soon as finding problem in order for the customer to know as soon as possible Positive customer feedback on success of repair .... |
