| Date Posted: Jan 26, 2012 Trades and Technology Centre Visitor Centre Officer (Information Officer II) Alumni & Development Competition # 216-11-TB ADPS (Contract: March to September 15, 2012) SAIT is looking for an experienced, self-directed, Visitor Centre Officer to join the Grand Opening Program team. The Visitor Centre Officer is responsible for enhancing the guest experience by designing and delivering tours that: highlight the unique nature of the Trades and Technology Complex; promote the existing amenities on campus; and deliver a consistent message about SAIT’s offerings. The Officer reports to the Program Director, Grand Opening and works closely with the Manager of the Career Exploration Centre and the Grand Opening Sponsorship Lead. Responsibilities: Gathers information from subject matter experts and packages information to illustrate the unique features of the new buildings and how they support curriculum Develops appropriate information delivery mechanisms (e.g. interpretive centres; signage; digital media channels [e.g. augmented reality], etc.) Facilitates the development of, and hosts/manages the temporary physical location(s) of the Visitor Centre Recruits.... |
