| Tool Room Preventative Maintenance Technician Pivotal Staffing is currently recruiting for a Tool Room Preventative Maintenance Technician position for a well-respected plastics company in Kitchener.br /Employment type: FT 40hrs/ Week?Job Description:br / Reports directly to Tool Room Leader and is responsible for maintaining production tooling, including but not limited to, sharpening, replacing broken/damaged punches and die sections, coil and gas springs, etc.br /br /Duties: br / Die maintenance • assess tooling before and after production runsbr / Sharpen and shim as required, as well as repair any damagebr / Ensure safety of tool for production • stop blocks, slug clearance, etc.br / Engineering changes • assess change and implement change as per production requirementsbr / Provide accurate documentation of the results of any and all tooling changes and/ or improvements by completing tool trialsbr / Ensure all last off samples: are readily available.br / Ensure all tools have accurate weight labelled onto the tool.br / Follow proper document control at all times.br / New Tool Building • construct components from CAD files provided and assemble for fitbr / New Tooling Trial • t.... |
