| Title Temporary to Permanent, Edmonton - Warehouse Forklift Operator Job ID 1173 Position Overview Our client requires a focused and safety conscious individual to operate forklift trucks in a hazardous goods warehouse environment. The hazardous setting requires an experienced operator with excellent critical thinking skills Responsibilities ?Picking customer orders using powered lift trucks from purchase orders ?Assembling customer orders ?Prepping customer orders for shipment using shrink wrap and mechanical banding equipment ?Operating RF inventory control guns ?Performing daily safety check lists on all machinery ?Safety conscious and aware at all times Requirements ?1-3 years of machine operating experience ?Valid forklift operators permit is an asset (will certify if necessary) ?Steel toe boots ?1-3 years working in warehousing or distribution environments ?Be able to lift upwards of fifty pounds repeatedly ?Be willing to submit to a criminal record and drug test ?Can fluently speak, write and comprehend spoken English Experience with Raymond Stand Up Reach narrow aisle forklifts a strong asset Functional Area Operations Date Added 1/19/2012 Title Forklift Operator Location E.... |
