| Teller - Part Time Location: Aylmer Job Code: 383 # of openings: 1 Description Purpose of the Job: As a member of the branch team, the Teller is responsible for contributing to the overall success of the branch by meeting established goals through responding to and taking action on Member requests, while adhering to security and operational policies and procedures. Specifically, the Teller is responsible for meeting walk-in members’ transactional needs, resolving their service and maintenance related inquiries and directing sales opportunities to the appropriate staff member. Teller goals, as established, include specific objectives around the sale of mandated products and services as well as generating quality referrals for senior staff. Key Responsibilities: r Process deposit and withdrawal slips, cash cheques, make bill payments and monitor transactions for potential fraud. r Sell money orders and traveller's cheques. r Count and balance cash, resolving any differences. r Deliver and pick up negotiable instruments to or from agency bank, as required. r Sell and buy foreign currencies. r Encode all clearing items. r Process incoming daily clearings from agency bank. r P.... |
