| Technologist 3 - Collection Posting NO.108160 TECHNOLOGIST 3 - COLLECTION WATER AND WASTE DEPARTMENT POSTING NO: 108160 Under the direction of the Supervisor of Garbage Collection, the Collection Technologist provides technical and supervisory support to assist in all aspects of the garbage, recycling, and Leaf and Yard waste collection programs. The Technologist directs, assigns and monitors the progress, and work performance of staff and contractors. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provides contract administration support for the collection programs by: - Develops and maintains contractor performance tracking information using computer applications. - Acts as Contract Administrator for various collection contracts, including monitoring contractor progress, analyzing program data, and preparing technical reports and correspondence as required. - Works with other Departments to plan, develop and implement in-house projects and programs including the coordination, training, and direction of departments and staff involved. - Supervises and provides leadership to staff and work site by assigning and monitoring work tasks of staff, that staff is adequately trained, including the setting.... |
